Timetables:
We 've got a very bad timetable, we sometimes even have to be at school from 8.30 untill 16.50, that's way too long. We're all taught in many subjects.
This is an example, it is the timetable of Johanna
These are the ones we all have:
Dutch, Math (you choose between mathematics A and mathematics B, A is more focused on statistics and B is more focused on formulas.), P.E., English, general science, greek and latin culture, sociology, religion (not actually religion, but thinking about what's important of life.) and Greek or Latin
Beside we also have to choose a profile, there are 4 profiles which al have different subjects in it:
Economics and society: Economics, German/French, History,
Culture and society: Economics, German/French, History, Drama/Music/Drawing
Nature and health: Biology, Chemistry.
Nature and technics: Biology, Chemistry, Physics. (with this profile you have to choose mathematics B)
Afterwards you also have to choose three other subjects from the following:
Biology, Geology, French, German, Music, Drama, Philosphy, Social science, Management, ICT or extra difficult mathematics.
We also have to do al lot of homework. Almost every day we're working on it for three hours.
The good points at our school are the following:
- There is a nice atmosphere in the building.
- Most of the teachers are nice.
The bad points are:
- The schedule is horrible.
- There are too few classrooms
- We get to much homework
If we could change anything, we would change the schedule and there should be less homework.
Our parents think school is in some way better, but in someway worse.
The good thing now is that the distance between the teacher and the students smaller then before. We can also work on computers, which is useful, because it's faster. The teachers are also less severe.
The bad thing is that there is sometimes no order in class.
Our parents have experienced their time at school useful, they learned to speak languages and many other things. Their study helped them in their lives.

Hello!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWe're the 3rd group from Spain.
Our parents think that school is in some way better and in some way worse too, because our parents say that now we can study more things and easier because we can use technology to learn, like computers, and it someway it's worse too because now maybe we had less respect to the teachers.
Well, our parents think the same more less, than yours. So, good information.
Byeee :)
Greatings from Spain.
Hoi! Hi!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI agree with opinion that now "we had less respect to the teachers". Thanks that respect our parents grew up to be good people. I hope we'll also become respectable homans despite lack of continual dyscypline;)
Dank u wel
Hi, it's Chris from Poland.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour article is very interesting.
Your schedule is, as I can see, more difficult than mine. Hmm, 8 hours for a day, it's very long! I have 2 days when i must be in school from 8 to 16, i know what you feel, it's horrible :) .
Very interesting to me is that you can choose difficult of your learning! Mat A and Mat B... we don't have it in our school. (of course i wouold choose mat A, but i'm in Math-profil so it's enough for me:P ).
Iam happy you have good relationships with your teacher, actually it is very important!. For example I more prefer to learn this subject, in which I have better relationship with a teacher.
Hope your director will change your timetable.
Greetings, Poland
Hi :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour time schedule is horrible really. But in Poland u dont have any subcjects that u can choose instead of other one. That means u cant focus your brain on specific kind of science.
